Tower Hill School, DE

Tower Hill School Vocal Ensemble is an advanced, auditioned chamber choir branching from the 50-member non-auditioned upper school choir. Vocal Ensemble represents the highest level of choral study at Tower Hill School. Formed to provide dedicated singers with opportunities for refined ensemble performance, the Vocal Ensemble explores a wide range of repertoire requiring musical independence, precision, and expressive depth. In addition to school and community performances, the ensemble has performed the National Anthem at local minor league baseball games and regularly represents Tower Hill at regional festivals and collaborations. Vocal Ensemble singers consistently earn selection to the Delaware All-State Chorus, reflecting the ensemble’s high standards of musicianship, vocal technique, and artistic excellence.

Lindsay Alexander Owen is the Director of Middle and Upper School Choirs at Tower Hill School in Wilmington, Delaware, where she leads the school’s five choral programs and guides students in vocal performance and ensemble singing. She joined the Tower Hill faculty in 2021, bringing a broad and accomplished background in music education and choral conducting to her work. Owen holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice and Piano from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Church Music in Choral Conducting from Belmont University, grounding her teaching in strong musicianship and pedagogical expertise.
