Sharon High School, MA

The Sharon High School Honors Select Choir is Sharon High School’s premier choral ensemble which performs advanced a cappella and accompanied choral music, from across music history, in multiple languages. An honors-level ensemble, this is a fast-paced intense chorus that rigorously pursues artistic and choral excellence. The Select Choir regularly performs throughout the year for our student-body, broader community, and beyond. Recent performances have included a masterwork collaboration with a local high school, caroling for senior homes in our community, and performing at the Massachusetts Statehouse in Boston, MA. 

Director, Rachel Glenister, has been working in the field of music education for the past 12 years and has been with the Sharon High School choral program for 5 years. Her mission in the program is to inspire a lifelong love of learning in students through music. In the Honors Select Choir, students regularly perform for the school, local community, and beyond. Last year, they received a Superior Rating and First Place at the Festival Of Music in New York, New York. We are so excited for this opportunity to collaborate with other schools and the Voces8 team!
