RozspieWawa Choir, Warsaw, Poland

RozspieWawa Choir is a vibrant, fast-growing ensemble that emerged from the first edition of the 25+ Singing is for Everyone workshops organised by the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw. It was founded in 2018 by Anna Bednarska, who serves as the choir’s conductor and artistic director.

The choir is made up of true enthusiasts of choral music - amateurs who embrace singing as both a passion and a way of life. Its diverse repertoire spans a wide range of Polish and international works, from classical to contemporary pieces including Msza Polska by Jan Maklakiewicz and Requiem by Gabriel Fauré.

In 2019, RozspieWawa Choir participated in the educational production I Love Moniuszko, directed by Małgorzata Zajączkowska and conducted by Jan Stokłosa. In 2023, the choir earned a Gold Diploma at the International Choral Competition Cantu Gaudeamus in Białystok, in Poland.

RozspieWawa Choir regularly performs in the elegant Redutowe Halls of the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera, where they delight audiences and themselves alike with the joy of music.
