Lucis Choir, Bath

Directed by Francis Faux, Lucis was founded in 2014 and quickly established itself as one of the leading choirs in the Southwest of England. Since its inception, the choir has toured the Czech Republic and United States and has performed in a number of prestigious concert venues, such as Carnegie Hall, Cadogan Hall, Wiltshire Music Centre, and Bath Abbey.

During lockdown, the choir had the privilege of hosting several Q&A evenings with guests including Bob Chilcott, Christopher Tin, Ola Gjeilo, Eric Whitacre, Ēriks Ešenvalds, and Dame Emma Kirkby, and more recently, new works were commissioned by Bernard Hughes and their patron Will Todd for their recent 10th anniversary celebrations.
