Gabrieli-Gymnasium Eichstätt, Germany

The Gabrieli-Gymnasium Eichstätt in Germany is a music-focused secondary school with a special emphasis on music. Every student learns an instrument and is encouraged in singing, and a large proportion participate in one of our choirs or orchestras. Through numerous concerts and performances throughout the school year, music is a constant companion and represents our main focus.

The chamber choir of the Gabrieli-Gymnasium Eichstätt consists of about 15 singers from grades 11–13. In the weekly rehearsals, choral works from different musical eras are studied. These are performed both a cappella and with instrumental accompaniment as part of school concerts and on special occasions.

The choir is directed and rehearsed by Senior Teacher Christina Schiekofer.
