Conductor

Thomas Christopher Crook is a Dallas, Texas, based conductor, pianist, organist, singer, and teacher of voice. After a career of seventeen years in full-time church music, Christopher began a company called TriplePoint Music, LLC. TriplePoint supplies professional musicians to hundreds of events each year across the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, United States area. Born and raised in Mississippi, Christopher completed an undergraduate degree in sacred music from Mississippi College and then a graduate degree in choral conducting from Baylor University in Texas. He served as Director of Music for seventeen years at one of the country’s largest United Methodist churches where over four hundred musicians participated in choral and instrumental ensembles. While at St. Andrew, his choirs toured Europe several times and in the U.S., performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and The National Cathedral. Currently, Christopher serves as Organist/Director of Music at Third Church of Christ, Scientist, and he is director of the renowned Temple Emanu-El Choir, both in Dallas, Texas. He is a former advisory board member for the Center for Christian Music Studies at Baylor University, a member of the Board of Directors for Friends of WRR (classical radio), and an active member of Texas Choral Directors Association and American Choral Directors Association.
