Cantate'86 Hamm, Germany

Cantate ‘86 is a choir of the Protestant parish of Hamm. Musically, the emphasis is on spiritual choral singing of different eras and styles. The choir performs regularly at services and concerts. 

Concert tours through Switzerland, as well as to Estonia, France, USA, and Poland have been highlights so far. Participating 10 times in German Protestant and Ecumenical Church Days has enabled the choir to travel throughout Germany. Further impetus has also been gained through participation in various competitions and performances. 

In 2024 the choir was awarded the title of Master Choir in the North Rhine-Westphalia Choral Association for the third time. The annual highlight is the Christmas concert in Hamm with renowned national and international artists. In 2018 and 2023, the choir was invited to travel to New York to attend concerts at Carnegie Hall.
